ADMISSIONS

MVP is a South Carolina Public Charter School which requires students be selected through a lottery process.   MVP will only accept an additonal 200 students for the 2025-26 ranging from grades 7th to 12th for a total of 650 students.  MVP will add students each year until 1000 students make up the MVP student body.

ENROLLMENT

The lottery is for new students only.  Current students do not need to apply.

Parents,

Charter schools accept students through a lottery system.  Open enrollment for the lottery application is now open.  The window to apply will close November 29th at 6:00PM.  If at the close of the open enrollment window there are more students applying than seats available, MVP will hold a public meeting and draw names to assign students a seat.  Once all available seats are taken, a waiting list will be established.  Any student who applies after the lottery will be put on the waiting list.

Exceptions to the lottery include, employee's children and siblings of current students.  These students will be assigned a seat before the lottery is held.

MVP will accept:

100- 7th graders

10-8th graders to add to the current 7th grade class for a total of 100 8th graders

75-9th graders for a total of 150 9th graders

55-10th-12th graders for a total of 300 9th-12th graders
